Inter Info: 3/25/08

What's up my dawgs? I hope the sun's shining where ever you are, I hope you woke up on the right side of the bed, I hope you took you 8 shots of black coffee, and I hope you took your daily vitamins which are secretly for hippopotomonstrosesquippedalia phobia- or a fear of long words. I hope you did all of this because, I'm re-energized. I'm going to be coming at you hard and fast, couple this with the amount of drama in both Serie A and Nerazzurri land right now, and you have yourself a deadly combo. Good luck. In other news, if you're ever stranded on an island, the ol' message in a bottle trick may just work after all. About 21 years passed between the time Emily Hwaung put the message in a soda bottle and Merle Brandell picked it up on the beach. So you're saying, if I write a list of "dos and donts" for Moratti, throw it in the ocean, he'll get it? Now where's that empty mayonnaise bottle...... Here's your daily fix. (Or 21 year old message in a bottle to Moratti.)

----> Maniche to start? He played very well against Uventus, scoring one and hitting the post on another. We're a little banged up in the midfield, so this is a possibility. He hasn't dazzled me yet, but he hasn't pissed me off either. I'm in favor of giving him a shot.

----> The Azzurri will play Spain tomorrow. Watch it. It's going to be a very good psychological test before the Euro, because these teams will most likely be meeting each other again at sometime during the tourney. Spain have won four of their last five, which includes a 1-0 victory over France. Italy are in fine form as well, their most recent win coming against Portugal. Forza Azzurri.

----> Some more Ronaldinho bullshit. You can store it in the back, way back, of your mind for later use if you want. But it's probably just better to strap it to dynamite and watch it go boom.

----> A bit of a surprise. After Saturday's 2-1 loss to Uventus, reports said that Moratti stormed the dressing room and verbally attacked Manico. However, to the surprise of many, the players fully back Mancini. This is obviously a surprise, especially considering the troubles he has had with a few of the Nerazzurri players. This is a good thing, a few sparks never hurt anyone. It really doesn't matter though, Manico will be gone at the end of the season anyways. (See here as well.)

----> I told you he was gone. After the 'Pool game, I went off. Then, after having some time to think about it, I decided to wait and see what Manico could do with the rest of season before I called for his head. Well the dinner bell just rang, and his time is up. Don't even try to defend him, he has made that almost impossible to do for all you Manico Maniacs.

----> HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! To our boy, Nelson Rivas. He is celebrating his 25th birthday today, and I hope it's a very nice one. Save a piece of cake for me, before Fatty returns from Brazil and eats it all.

----> Here's the training info for today. A few notes: Cesar trained with team in full today, as did the Primavera trio of Alberto Gerbo, Renè Khrin and Daniele Pedrelli. Also, both Ibra and Cambiasso went under a series of fitness tests. Nicolas Burdisso, JC, Cristian Chivu, TSB, Jimmy, Matrix, Pelé, Dejan Stankovic, Davey, Patrick Vieira and Il Capitano are away with their national teams.
