Inter v Twente: Rafa's Last Stand?

New, comments

Eto'o against Twente

I think we can all agree that Inter is in full-on, hard-core, screaming, teeth-gnashing, hair-rending Crisis. So much so, that it has been suggested that Benitez is hanging on by the skin of his teeth and is one slim loss away from finding himself with a lot more free time. Well, Inter look to put that decision off for at least a few more days by actually winning a game (remember when we used to do that?). For all our sakes, I hope Benitez manages to pull this one out because as bad as this may be, it could definitely be worse.

What: FC Internazionale v Twente Enschede, Champions League Group A
Where: San Siro, Milan
When: Wednesday, Nov 24, 8:45pm local time (11:45am pacific, 2:45pm eastern)
How to Watch: DirecTV, FoxSoccer.tv, Sky Sport, and UEFA.com (ppv) for live coverage, or find a stream: MyP2P, Rojadirecta, Ustream, and ATDHE.net
Liveblog: I haven't heard otherwise, so, as usual, 15 minutes before kickoff

Ok, I had this whole sort of preview type blog written out. I wont lie, it wasn't cheery. But then I remembered this scene from Meatballs and suddenly I dont feel so badly:

Oh, and just to maintain some sort of semblance of a preview, I give you the callup list:

Portieri: Castellazzi, Orlandoni, Gallinetta;

Difensori: Cordoba, Zanetti, Lucio, Materazzi, Biraghi, Santon, Natalino;

Centrocampisti: Stankovic, Thiago Motta, Sneijder, Cambiasso, Mancini, Nwankwo, Crisetig;

Attaccanti: Eto'o, Pandev, Biabiany.

Since Bill Murray is far better than I will ever be at the pep talk, I will leave it there.

FORZA INTER

In case any of you have some pent up Rafa anger, I made this little game:
