Top Derby Moments Countdown: #2 - Pandev Free Kick Seals Deal For Nine-Man Inter

Moment #2 took place on Jan. 24, 2010 with Inter hanging on to a precarious 1-0 lead and playing with 10 men after Wesley Sneijder was shown a straight red for dissent in the 25th minute.

The Nerazzurri were reeling and soaked up a tremendous amount of pressure in the second half before Maicon won a free kick deep in Milan territory in the 67th minute.

It was a huge reprieve for the Nerazzurri, who would be able to catch their breath for a minute or two. But Pandev had other ideas. He stood pensively over the ball and curled a beautiful effort over the wall and past Dida, sparking jubilant scenes at San Siro.
