Hours after the final whistle ends Inter have sold Giulio Donati to Bayer Leverkusan for €3 million.

The right fullback had a phenomenal U21 Championship in Israel and rumors of his leaving were in the rumor mill for a week or so. Personally this is a bit of a disappointment for me as I thought that he had proven at least enough for a chance to work out at Pinzolo. As it is, like the Ishak Belfodil transfer this is designed to free up some money for Inter to improve their ability to maneuver this transfer window.

The 23 year old has been a part of Inter since 2008 when the then 18 year old was brought in from Lucchese.
