The Roster Shrinks Even Further

pesstatdatabase.com

Inter’s roster has been shrinking all summer as players leave on loan or returned to sender and it looks like there is going to be one more gone in the next coming weeks.

Inter has been working with Genoa to find a home for Mattia Silvestre. The rumor is that one sticking point is the pay wage, as per usual when Inter tries to unload poor transfer decisions. Another is that Genoa’s finances are probably worse than Inter’s and they might need to set things in order to free up money.

A compromise does look promising, however according to rumor. Inter might have to pay the difference of his wage for a while. It’s not ideal but it’s a better alternative than having the man in the stands not showing he has some ability and paying him a full wage.

It’s too bad that it had to come to this point with Silvestre but everyone has to face facts that he’s not going to be a part of this team.

I think that everyone knows why this team needs that money freed up. It’s not really to buy anyone else, it’s really to free up salary so that another player, a useful player, can be incorporated.
