Bad news on the injury front, Interisti.
Dani Osvaldo was injured during Italy training and will be out for 25-30 days with an adductor strain. Reports initially said that the injury is a second degree strain, but according to Sky Sport Italia, the injury may be more serious than initially thought. According to Sky reporter Alessando Alciato, Osvaldo might need at least a month to recover from the injury.
This puts Inter in a tight spot, as the squad was already thin regarding strikers available. Mauro Icardi and Rodrigo Palacio are the only true first team attacking options, and hopefully Federico Bonazzoli and/or George Puscas will be ready to get some action.
The lack of strikers was something I feared as the season started. So much so that I brought it up twice: here and here.
