It seems those Paulinho-to-Inter rumors may have just been rumors after all. Apparently, Paulinho's agent, Giuliano Bertolucci has denied all reports that the Tottenham midfielder will make a move to Italy.
When asked by SportMediaSet about the possibility of Paulinho joining Inter, Bertolucci replied:
"Hi, I deny all the rumors regarding the interest of Inter for Paulinho, nothing is true, there is no possibility for a transfer in January, it's just the usual voices..."
That seems pretty direct, and there is nothing to suggest that Bertolucci is bluffing. Other sources also claim that Bertolucci is actively seeking a club for Paulinho in Brazil, so that would seem to add weight to his denial regarding a move to Inter as well.
Other reports are surfacing, however, regarding a Spurs-Inter deal involving Spanish striker Roberto Soldado. Time will tell if those negotiations come to fruition or if those claims are also just the usual transfer window fodder.
