Two things stick out after examining the numbers for this season.  First, Kuzmanovic is earning the same amount as Kovacic, and second, Vidic is tied for the most expensive salary at 3.2 million.  The goal of a wage reduction has been achieved under the new ownership and compared to years past, the amount is considerably lower at just under 40 million.

Serie A managers' salaries have also been released, and Walter Mazzarri has been revealed as the second highest coach in the league, earning 3.3 million a year.  Rafa Benitez tops the list with the 3.5 million that Aurelio De Laurentiis is paying him.
