The Italian FA's sporting judges have reached a decision regarding an incident between Inter defender Juan Jesus and Juventus center back Giorgio Chiellini during yesterday's Derby D'Italia match in Turin.
Juan Jesus is to be suspended for a total of four league matches for what the Football Association has deemed to be "violent conduct" against Chiellini. Now, one of those matches will be because of his accumulation of cards during the match, but the other three, however, come as a result of the punishment handed down by the Italian FA.)
Inter will also be missing two other important players during the upcoming Genoa fixture on Sunday. One being defender and captain Andrea Ranocchia, who will be serving a 1-match suspension due to reaching a yellow card limit in yesterday's match, and the other being playmaker Mateo Kovacic, who will also be serving a 1-match suspension after seeing a straight red card yesterday for a late-match challenge on Juve's Stephan Lichtsteiner.
Inter have not yet expressed whether they will make a formal appeal, but they are expected to do so.
