Nerazzurri Internationals: Tuesday results

Yesterday saw quite a few Nerazzurri internationals in action with their national teams, and most saw positive results.

Yuto Nagatomo put in a full shift as Japan defeated Cambodia 2-0 in a Russia 2018 qualifying match.

Both Marcelo Brozovic and Ivan Perisic were involved in Croatia's com-from-behind 3-1 victory over Russia yesterday. Brozovic scored his team's second.

Samir Handanovic also played a full 90 minutes in Slovenia's Euro 2016 play-off second leg against Ukraine. The match ended in a 1-1 draw, which means that Handa's side will miss France 2016.

As for the South American contingent, Joao Miranda saw 90 minutes as Brazil easily dispatched Peru 3-0 in a Russia 2018 qualifier.

Colombia suffered a narrow loss to Argentina in Russia 2018 qualifying yesterday. Jeison Murillo started the match and played a full 90 while Fredy Guarin was an unused substitute.

Gary Medel made an appearance in Chile's 3-0 loss to Uruguay yesterday, another Russia 218 qualifying match.

It's back to the training grounds today as Inter prepare to take on Frosinone on Sunday.
