24-years-old Gaston Ramirez is on Inter Milan radar, once again. The Uruguayan was linked to the Italian side back in 2012, when he made his move to Southampton from Bologna, for approximately €17 Million. He was 22 years old at the time and he showed great talent, so the English club had to make a very interesting offer for the player, who hasn't lived up to the expectations so far.
After sending him on loan to Hull City, Southampton told the player they won't renew his contract next year - it will end in 2016 - and that's why Inter could make a move for him, even if his development hasn't gone the way everyone expected, having scored only 7 goals in 65 appearances in his English campaign.
Ramirez his a left-footed offensive midfielder with good technique and he has the ability to score goals or to make assists for his teammates. Mancini already showed interest for him when he was on Galatasaray's bench.
According to transfermarkt.com his value is around €6 Million, but it seems that Inter is not ready to pay so much for him at the moment. Considering the price he was payed just 3 years ago and that he is young enough to grow and develop into a good player it would be a gamble by Inter if his cost decreases even more, but it may be worth a try.
