Squawka is reporting that Roberto Mancini is interested in luring Chelsea winger Mohamed Salah away from the London club to join Inter Milan.
According to the article linked above, Goal has claimed that the Egyptian international may be contemplating a move away from Stamford Bridge this summer, and he has reportedly been given the opportunity to choose his next destination. This fact has prompted Roberto Mancini to reach out to Salah in an effort to bring the talented young player to the San Siro for good next season.
Of course, one likely landing place for the young winger is Fiorentina - the club he was loaned out to by Chelsea for the second half of the 14/15 season. The 23-year-old winger performed very well in Florence, bagging four goals in his first seven league matches with the Viola and netting a double against Juventus in the Coppa Italia semifinal.
If there is any truth to this rumor, and if Salah actually is contemplating a move to Milan, he could prove to be a solid replacement for (nay, an improvement over) Arsenal man Lukas Podolski, who is surely on his way back to London after a disappointing Spring with the Nerazzurri.
I know Inter had their eye on Salah around the same time they signed Shaqiri last season. Adding Salah to the mix could be very exciting for the Inter attack, as he would have the opportunity to provide width and pace to the Inter front line, which is really shaping up nicely for the 15/16 campaign.
