Forza Italian Football and other sources have reported that French side Lille, English club West Ham, German club Schalke, and others are all interested in buying Inter Milan full-back Yuto Nagatomo. The 28 year old joined Inter from Cesena back in 2011, and up until this past season he was a regular first team player.
Nagatomo did not have a very 14/15 season though. He had some injury problems and was limited to only 14 league appearances (he also participated in the Asian Cup for Japan during the regular season back in January). This was also his first season for the Nerazzurri in which he was unable to score a goal in any competitions.
Transfermrkt.com has his value listed at €10m but since he is going into the last year of his contract, Inter probably would have to sell him for a little less than what he is worth. That is unless multiple teams start submitting offers and a bidding war begins between the clubs. That would be nice. That would be very nice.
With D'Ambrosio and Santon playing fairly well, plus recent rumors linking Inter to Barcelona's Montoya, I would be okay with Nagatomo leaving the club for the right amount of money. With Jonathan also likely leaving the club though, reinforcements must be brought in to provide adequate backup/competition in the full-back position.
