Zdravko Kuzmanovic agreed to a 5-year deal with F.C. Basel today and he will no longer be an Inter player. La Gazzetta Dello Sport reported that the Serbian player has been sold for €2 Million plus bonuses to the Swiss club where he played from 2005 to 2007.
After some very big signing by Inter so far - Kondogbia, Miranda, Murillo and Montoya - finally the Nerazzurri found a way to monetize those players who are not part of Mancini's future project. Kuzmanovic was one of them as well, and just a few days ago he and Santon were reportedly sold to Watford for an overall price of €10 Million, but both players refused to leave so the deal fell through.
Kuzmanovic joined the Nerazzurri just 2 years ago for €2 Million, but in his time here he never got into Inter fans' hearts. He is a smart and solid central midfielder with a good outside shot. However, he doesn't have any elite technical skill so he is definitely not the type of player who would have you jumping on your sofa with his play.
We wish Kuz all the best for his future.
