Inter made a formal announcement this morning that a year-long loan involving Isaac Donkor has been completed and agreed to by both sides.
This announcement comes via the official Inter Milan website, which stated that the 19-year-old defender has completed a move to Serie B side F.C. Bari, where the Puglia-based club have an option to make the deal permanent and Inter hold an option to counter if they so desire.
This move actually makes alot of sense with the amount of extra personnel Inter have brought in to try in central defense for next season. This way, Donkor will be able to see regular first-team minutes and should have the opportunity to develop his skill set.
If the Ghanaian international does indeed do well at Bari, Inter will have the good problem of deciding whether to A) reclaim him as a first-team central defender or B) sell him for more money in order to balance their seemingly always-awry checkbook.
