Adem Ljajic is expected to receive a starting spot in Wednesday's Hellas Verona matchup. The Serbian international has only played one minute of Serie A football this season, and that was with Roma.

Ljajic has gotten to know the Inter bench pretty well during his first two matches as a Nerazzurro, but with Stevan Jovetic set to take a break in the midweek match, Ljajic may finally get that starting chance he's been itching for this season.

It's safe to say that Ljajic could be an important piece of the puzzle this season if Inter are to legitimately challenge Roma, Juve, and others for the Serie A crown. Mancini and the Inter squad will be depending on Ljajic's versatility and technical ability to spot play as both a second striker and winger.

Ljajic is sitting on 29 goals in Serie A play, and should be expected to make an impact as he hunts for number 30 tonight against Hellas Verona.
