Felipe Melo, the hero of Wednesday's win against Hellas Verona, dismissed criticism from Italian media that Inter's playing style (and winning style) is boring and not entertaining.
In fact, Melo clearly gives zero effs regarding whether or not his team is "entertaining" as long as they continue to win consistently. To wit, he expressed his feelings thusly: "For those who don't like the way we play they can watch Barcelona. We are trying to make history and that is never simple."
He also added the following sentiment regarding the Nerazzurri win yesterday: "I am happy because we fought until the very end... It was a great game because we got all three points and we can build on that."
And as for the criticism that Melo himself faced regarding his rough-and-tumble style of play, the player responded with the following: "I don't care, I go on my way with faith in God. The more others talk, the more I go forward."
So there you have it. Darn the haters. Felipe Melo is here to win, thank God.
