ESPN FC has reported that Inter Milan president Erick Thohir has dismissed the rumors that his club lost €90 million last season.

While attending a series of meetings with Inter's managerial staff, Thohir flatly rejected the claims that Inter are set to announce any such loss, telling Sky Italia:

It's not true... I've seen these reports and I don't understand where that figure has come from. It's going to be interesting when the actual figure is announced in a month's time at our board meeting.

At the moment, our EBITDA, which is the indication of profitability, is turning increasingly positive. Our income has risen by €10m and ticket sales are also excellent. TV revenue is good, but still far from how it is in England. We need to do more to get a greater visibility for the whole of Serie A in Asia and in the United States.

Thohir also announced plans to modernize/renovate the San Siro and to make it solely an Inter Milan stadium in the future. However, AC Milan have recently expressed that they are "in love" with the San Siro and that they have shelved their plans to build a new stadium in Milan.

It is Thohir's hope that AC Milan eventually decide to move away from the San Siro, as the Indonesian investor has said that he has been "working on a project for the San Siro for the past nine months" and that he is "ready to invest €150m into the stadium."
