Guarin departure almost official

Fredy Guarin is next up on the departure list, though he will be going to a different Chinese club than what was originally planned.

Looks like another Inter player is about to head out the door. Fredy Guarin has agreed to a transfer to Shanghai Shenhua and reportedly will fly out for a medical tomorrow. It seems like just with the Luiz Adriano transfer Jiangsu Suning was unable to finalize a deal to bring the Colombian international to their club and Shanghai Shenhua was able to swoop in and take Guarin for a lower price knowing how ready Inter were to sell him and how integral his sale was to the rest of the Nerazzurri's transfer plans.

This deal is only supposed to be €11m, plus €1m in bonuses. There have not been reports indicating what Guarin's new salary would be but it is probably more than what he was making at Inter but less than what was offered by Jiangsu Suning (because let's be honest that was a lot of money to be paying him).

With Guarin gone Inter can begin to make purchases this January, with Soriano and a new attacker (looking likely to be one of Lavezzi or Eder) Mancini's top priorities. Ausilio does not have a lot of time left to work with, so we'll have to see what he can do.
