For once it looks like an international break came at the right time. That's because Geoffrey Kondogbia's injury to his triceps had broken up the much improved midfield combination of himself-Medel-Brozovic, while Stevan Jovetic's muscular contracture and Mauro Icardi's strained lateral collateral ligament had left the team a little short up front. The current international break ends when Inter take on Torino on April 3rd, and accoring to Inter's chief of medical staff Piero Volpi, all three should be match fit by then.
Jovetic is the most healthy of the three currently, as Volpi confirmed that it was perfectly okay for Montenegro to call him up for the match on Tuesday against Belaurs as he should be fine by then. Icardi is already training by himself and by Tuesday or Wednesday he should be back to training with the group to be available in time for the match against Torino. Kondogbia also should be training with the group sometime next week and hopefully will be match fit by April 3rd.
