Caner Erkin has been a named linked to Inter for quite some time now. The Fenerbache fullback's contract ends this summer and the Nerazzurri have long been rumored to be interested in him, especially since he would be able to join the club on a free transfer. Now there has been confirmation that the two groups have been meeting, and it seems that the negotiations are all but finished at this point.
Erkin's agent, Batur Altiparmak, revealed that his client has a deal already in place with Inter and that all the details have been fleshed out. At this point the only thing that needs to happen is for the Turkish defender to sign the contract. Though he said that it would only be a matter of time, Altiparmak revealed that he still plans to meet with Fenerbache in the near future to see how they feel about renewing Erkin's contract.
If Fenerbache decide they want to offer Erkin a new contract, the 27 year old will have to make a decision. He personally hasn't spoken about if he prefers to stay in Istanbul or move to Milan, but if he decides to leave all he has to do is sign on the dotted line.
