Mancini and his players will look to bounce back from their 1-3 loss to PSG when they face Estudiantes today in New Jersey.
Match Facts:
Date: Wednesday, July 27th, 2016
Time: 8:00pm ET/ 2:00am CET (July 28th)
Venue: Red Bull Arena; Harrison, New Jersey
Inter fans will have a couple of connections to the La Plata-based club. Their coach is Nelson Vivas who played for Inter from 2001-2003, while their president is Juan Sebastian Veron. The Argentinian club is also preparing for the start of their league but they have already played a competitive match in their domestic cup and won 3-0 over Atlas.
Inter comes into this match hoping to put focus back onto matters on the pitch rather than issues off it. With Napoli now actively pursuing Mauro Icardi and doubts being raised as to Roberto Mancini's future, the last few days have probably been a little tense for Inter management. Even though it is just a friendly, a win would be a good way to help calm fans and get those feeling down a little more upbeat about things.
There have been no new arrivals to Inter's US squad so Mancini will have the same players available to his as he did against PSG. With all due respect to Estudiantes they are a bit of a step down in quality than the Ligue 1 champions, so a better performance from Inter can be expected.
Ways to Watch:
TV: Sky Sports (Italy). That's pretty much it, there aren't really a lot of options to view this game. Inter Channel will show a replay on Thursday, and the game is supposed to be live-tweeted from Inter's official twitter account.
