Frank De Boer might have just chosen the color of his curtains at his new home in Milan, but it looks that, according to reports, he already let Suning and Ausilio know which player he would like to have in his squad for the forthcoming season.
Moussa Sissoko impressed at Euro 2016 this summer, helping France reach the final only to lose in extra time to Portugal. The - partial - success with the national team made the relegation of his club, Newcastle, a little less bitter. His performances during Euros made a lot of teams interested in him though, and now the 27-year-old midfielder would like to leave the Magpies to join a much more prestigious side. If there was any possibility for him to stay at Newcastle even after relegation, their two losses already in the Championship cleared his mind on this subject, making his desire to leave grow even more.
Everton have already contacted the Championship club about the player, who is valued at €35 million. But the Liverpool based club will have to beat Inter and Juventus if they really want him, because Sissoko's representatives have met both teams in Milan to talk about the possibility of acquiring the Frenchman.
The Nerazzurri will probably have to wait until the Joao Mario saga comes to a close to formally make an offer for Moussa but in the meantime they already informed Newcastle, and most importantly Sissoko's entourage, that they are interested in him.
Will this be Inter's second big signing of the summer - after Candreva - or will Joao Mario finally join the Nerazzurri?
