Roberto Mancini finally has his right winger. After a lot of negotiations, Inter and Lazio have agreed to a deal that sees Antonio Candreva join the Milanese club.

It looks like the bid that Lazio President Claudio Lotito accepted was €22m with another €3m in potential bonuses. The 29 year old reportedly signed a 4 year contract worth €2.7m a season. It looks like he will wear number 87.

Prior reports suggested that Candreva was eager to move to Inter and that point was made clear when he arrived in Milan’s airport before his medical. While giving autographs and taking pictures with fans he told the press that he’s “always wanted Inter”.

This addition will take some of the pressure off Ivan Perisic to make everything happen down his left flank. Mancini now has two capable wingers and can confidently play either a 4231 or 433 formation this coming season. With these two plus Ever Banega and Marcelo Brozovic, hopefully this campaign will avoid the creative struggles that hampered the team last season.
