He is one of the team leaders in assists and Inter Milan is ready to keep him around for a bit longer.

As reported by Football Italia, the Nerazzurri are planning to extent the Italian’s contract through June 2021 with a slight bump in pay from €2.1 million per year to €2.7 million.

It is expected that Candreva will sign the extension sometime this week.

Prior to joining Inter Milan, Candreva was bounced between Lazio and Udinese before being sold to Lazio for €8.2 million in 2013. He came to Milan in 2016 from Lazio for €22 million.

So far this season, Candreva has notched eight assists for Inter and has been an anchor on the right side of Luciano Spalletti’s attack.
