Tonight, Inter face AS Roma at the San Siro in what is an absolutely huge match for the Nerazzurri. I don’t need to remind you that Roma are in second place; and with Atalanta’s 2-0 victory over Napoli, Inter can move within three points of a Champions League spot. On the other hand, a loss would keep Inter in sixth place, just one point ahead of AC Milan.
This match is crucial to Inter’s push for a top-three finish, and fans are understandably nervous. Roma are one of the most in-form teams in Europe, and shutting down an in-from Dzeko and Salah without Miranda will be a very difficult task. That being said, this is a home match, the atmosphere inside the stadium should be electric, and Inter haven’t dropped points at the San Siro in the league since October. The loss to Juventus aside, Inter are on an excellent run of results in the league, just like their opponents. Mauro Icardi is also back from his suspension, so Inter have every reason to be confident. Let’s hope Pioli and the players rise to the occasion. Forza Inter!
