Having scored an amazing 12 goals in their previous two matches, Inter go into Saturday’s clash with Torino in fine form.
On the surface, this seems like a match that Inter should win. Torino are in 10th place in the league and have conceded a staggering 46 goals, the fifth most in Serie A. But that being said, ll Toro is a far better team at home than away from Turin’s Stadio Olimpico.
Saturday’s clash is also a match-up of the top two goal scorers in Serie A. Torino’s Andrea Belotti leads the league with 22 goals; and with his hat trick last week, Inter’s Mauro Icardi is now level with Roma’s Edin Dzeko in second place, with 20 goals. It will certainly be fun to watch two of the most in-form strikers go head-to-head on Saturday.
It will take a strong effort for Inter to win this match. Let’s hope Pioli and his squad can keep the momentum going and walk away with the three points. Anything less would be a bit of a disappointment. Forza Inter!
