Fiorentina vs. Inter: Match Preview, Team News, and Ways to Watch

Let us hope for a much needed bounce back

If you have been following Inter recently, then you know the team has not been in sparkling from. In fact, the team has only picked up two points in the last four matches. It is fair to say that the team has been underperforming and Pioli will be looking to get the team playing better again.

In our last fixture, Inter blew a two goal lead late to AC Milan and the players will surely be looking to get rid of the bitter taste from that late game breakdown. After fighting hard to secure a two goal lead all of that work was brown straight out the window as Milan equalized with the last kick of the match.

Fiorentina will not just roll over and allow Inter to get back to winning ways. In fact this Fiorentina team lead by Paulo Sousa will surely hope to bounce back from their own loss last week against Empoli.

This matchup is very important in the race for the final European places for next season. At this point, Champions League is beyond unrealistic and the only hope Inter have of competing in Europe is by finishing in one of the Europa places. Fiorentina are also engaged in this fight as they too will surely be vying for a spot in the Europe's secondary competition.

Inter need to get back on track and this is not the ideal game to do so as Fiorentina are a tough opponent to face. At the same time, Inter need to start beating tough opposition in order to gain some confidence for next season.
