Romanian striker George Puscas is returning to Internazionale from being on loan to newly-promoted Benevento.

According to Digisport.ro, Puscas said Nerazzurri officials told the forward he needs “to play another year with continuity.”

“Inter have told me that I have to grow up.”

It basically means he needs to be consistent with his play, not that he is childish.

During his stint with Benevento, Puscas scored three goals during the Serie B playoffs, including the game-winner in a 1-0 final round second leg win over Carpi that saw Benevento promoted to Serie A this coming season.

“It’s great to have written the story of an entire city like Benevento,” he told the outlet.

Here’s the goal that moved Benevento into Serie A:

There is a possibility that Luciano Spalletti decides to loan Puscas back to Benevento for their Serie A season. His current value is right at €1.5 million, according to Transfermarkt.com. Puscas said he was aware of interest from Crotone and Chievo, but none of that has been officially confirmed.

Puscas missed 12 games in the last season with a meniscus injury.
