Inter center-back Gary Medel linked to Mexican club Tigres UANL

Éver Banega is not the only Inter player being linked to Mexican outfit Tigres UANL. Chilean center-back Gary Medel is also being tracked by Tigres, according to transfermarketsweb.com and media in both Italy and Mexico.

Medel is another that is not likely to return to the San Siro next season. While Tigres may be in the mix for Medel, has also been linked to one of his former clubs, Boca Junior in Argentina. Medel spent 2009 and 2010 with Boca before going to CDUC in Chile on loan. He was sent to Sevilla in 2011 then to Cardiff in 2013 before landing at Inter in 2014 for an €8 million transfer fee.

The Chilean’s contract expires in 2018 and, according to transfermarkt.com, he current market value is around €12 million.
