Inter should have a busy summer after bringing in a new manager who is ready to shake things up. There are a couple players that I believe Inter should be signing this summer.
Diego Costa
This has gotten extremely unlikely as the player wishes to force a move to Atletico Madrid, but that doesn’t mean that it still isn’t possible. In fact, it’s very doable for Inter to make the move, all it comes down to is whether or not Costa is willing to make the move. Seeing as he really wants to move back to Atletico, though, it’s a hard sell.
Angel Correa
This deal has actually been gaining some traction. Though, not enough traction to warrant us going crazy over it. Just as Costa is angling for a move back to Atletico, Inter may be in talks to make a move for the Atletico forward who has proven he has potential to be a fantastic striker. It is believed that Inter have him valued at over £20m which should make them the frontrunners for the 22-year-old.
Federico Bernardeschi
Did I spell that right? Inter’s been looking to sign the 23-year-old winger for over a year now, and this should be the year to do it. The Fiorentina number 10 has requested a move away from the Serie A club and Inter should take the opportunity to seize the promising young player. Creativity is needed up front, and Bernardeschi should most certainly fill that gap. Here’s to hoping Inter make the right move.
Mario Balotelli
Don’t hate me, but I think that this move may actually benefit both parties. Balotelli has been showing signs of improvement, and if he can maintain his current attitude, then there is no reason that he can’t become even more successful at Inter. It’s been a rollercoaster ride for the Italian striker, but he certainly has been making waves at Nice. And it sounds like he is prepared to remain there, unless of course a better offer comes his way.
Raphael Guerreiro
I’d be remiss if I didn’t add a defender on this list after adding so many attackers. Inter Milan’s defense isn’t perfect, and Guerreiro could add that extra boost to make Inter even more deadly on the pitch. The Portuguese defender/midfielder has managed to provide offense and defense and was one of the crucial reasons that Dortmund finished third in the Bundesliga this season. If he isn’t on Luciano Spalletti’s shortlist, he should be.
Is there someone that I should have added? Someone I should have taken off? If you think so, please leave a comment, insults are welcome as long as they are eloquently written.
