Inter Milan vs. Bayern Munich live stream: Preview, how to watch and match thread

It hasn’t been the best preseason for defending Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich.

After losing to Arsenal on penalties then suffering a blistering 4-0 defeat at the hands of AC Milan, Bayern took a three-goal lead on Chelsea Tuesday only to watch the Blues nearly pull even. Munich gave up two second-half goals but held on to a 3-2 win in Singapore.

Bayern Munich will take on Inter Milan Thursday in the International Champions Cup 2017 at the Singapore National Stadium.

Bayern got a brace from Thomas Muller and a goal from Brazilian full-back Rafinha to take a commanding lead over the Premier League champs Tuesday, but Chelsea battled back to get a pair of goals late.

The game called into question Bayern’s defensive prowess as the backline failed to stifle Chelsea’s flurried attack in the second half.

Inter, on the other hand, is coming off a 1-0 win over Olympique Lyon in China Monday. Stevan Jovetic provided the game-winner in the 75th minute of the game in Nanjing.

The Nerazzurri had strong offensive pressure in the second half following what could only be characterized as a dismal performance in the first.

Ivan Perisic, Joao Mario, Gabriel Barbosa and Jovetic sparked the Inter offense to life in the second half after it lay dormant in the first.

Defensively, Inter was rarely tested in the second half as the Nerazzurri dominated possession throughout.

However, against Schalke 04 in a 1-1 draw last week, the defense seemed to be somewhat asleep as the German side controlled the tempo until Jeison Murillo drilled the equalizer in the 73rd minute.

Bayern has added players like James Rodriguez during the transfer window but have lost Douglas Costa and Renato Sanches is looking to exit. Regardless, questions remain over the durability of Bayern’s defense which has surrendered six goals in two games.
