According to TalkSport, it would appear that Internazionale have agreed to personal terms with the Argentine midfielder.

I did not put Angel Di Maria on my list of players Inter should sign mainly due to the idea that I thought it would be a stretch. After having a strong campaign with Paris Saint-Germain, the £44m midfielder seemed to have found a place where he can thrive. Especially with Marco Verratti set to be on the move, PSG I felt would be unwilling to lose another top player.

But it is no doubt that since Di Maria left Real Madrid he has struggled to become a superstar in his own right. But that won’t turn Internazionale away, as the club is reported to have agreed to personal terms with the attacking midfielder. I’d be very eager to see what Spalletti can get from him.

Inter MIlan are ready to spend big, and PSG are likely looking to recoup the original £44m that they spent on the Argentinian. Most clubs would balk at that asking price, but it appears that the club is ready to spend what is needed to get the club back into contention for the Serie A title.

Following the TalkSport report, many other outlets have begun reporting on the link. As it begins to gain traction, we’ll work on keeping you informed on what you can and can’t believe in a transfer rumor market that is as saturated as the market itself.

What do you guys think of the link? I believe Di Maria would be a statement signing for Inter as they look to bolster their midfield as they make a bid to return to the top of Europe.
