“FC Barcelona and FC Internazionale Milano have reached an agreement for the loan of the player Rafinha until June 30th 2018. FC Internazionale has an option to purchase the player for €35 million plus €3 million in variables, which must be confirmed before the end of the current season. Rafinha has worked up through the Barcelona youth system – starting when he was 13. He debuted with Barca B in the 2010/11 season.
In his 79 matches played with Blaugrana, the 24-year-old Rafinha has been parts of teams that have won three Copas del Rey, two La Liga titles, a Champions League title, a Spanish Super Cup and a World Club Cup. Over that same time, he has scored 11 goals.
He was out since a knee injury he sustained in April in Barcelona’s 1-0 defeat to Espanyol in the Copa del Rey.
Esteban Cambiasso, former Inter midfielder, told Sky Sports Italia that Inter was “bring in a Barca reserve.”
“Therefore, an interesting player has arrived, but (Barca) have only given him to them because he’s not been playing. That’s the truth,” Cambiasso said.
