Drawing inspiration from its 1998-99 and 2010-11 kits, Inter Milan has released its new kit for next season.

It is a bit early, but considering it is the 20th anniversary of Inter’s partnership with Nike, it could have prompted the earlier release.
The new home kit has the traditional black and blue vertical stripes, but what makes this kit different is the backdrop.
It features a snake skin graphic that runs down the entire jersey and sleeves. Those sleeves are still solid black.
“The club’s original Nike kit was a quintessential Inter shirt, with thick black and blue Nerazzurri stripes augmented by a gold Swoosh and gold outline around the club crest,” the club said, in a news release. “The 2010-11 shirt, which the team wore as reigning champions of Italy and Europe, used distorted vertical stripes to create a serpent-like effect that invoked Il Biscione, a grass snake and powerful Milanese symbol intrinsic to local identity.”
The gold Nike swoosh is on the right breast of the kit and Inter’s logo with gold details is on the left side. Pirelli remains the jersey sponsor with its logo across the front of the jersey.

The kit is rounded out with black shorts and socks with gold trim.
The kit will be available to purchase on Inter’s team store in the next day or so.
All-in-all, the look isn’t all that new to the naked eye, but the snake skin backdrop is pretty neat.
