After failing to get a significant amount of time on the field since joining from Nice, Inter Milan looks to be ready to deal Dalbert back to France … at least temporarily.
Calciomercato and Sky Sport are both reporting that the Nerazzurri are close to a deal with Monaco that would send Dalbert to the Ligue One side on loan for one season at €3 million with an option to purchase for €24 million at the end of the season.
While it is still a long way from solving any of Inter’s Financial Fair Play issues leading up to the June 30 deadline, it could signal intentions of the club to sell off some of its underperforming players.
Dalbert made just 17 appearances this past season for Inter and failed to score or make an assist in any of those.

If the deal comes to fruition, it could also mean the end of tenure for Davide Santon, who also failed to impress – and even went the other direction at times – during the season.
Dalbert has also been linked with Tottenham Hotspur – although who at Inter hasn’t lately – and Borussia Moenchengladbach (it’s true, I just really wanted to write that out!).
