Sky Sport Italia is now reporting that a deal between Inter Milan and Atletico Madrid for right back Sime Vrsaljko is done.
Reports suggest the Nerazzurri will pay €6.5 million plus €500,000 in “solidarity contributions” to get the Croatian international on loan. Inter has agreed to pay an additional €17.5 million to Atletico if they agree to pick up the option to buy at the end of the season.

Vrsaljko is fresh off helping Croatia to the finals of the World Cup where he played with Inter’s Ivan Perisic and Marcelo Brozovic.

Prior to joining Atletico, Vrsaljko played in Italy with Sassuolo and Genoa. During his previous stints in Serie A, he had 79 appearances with 10 assists in his three years in Italy.
According to the reports, all that is left is for Vrsaljko to complete a medical, leap over some paperwork hurdles and sign a contract.
His annual salary has not been released.
If it is true, Inter will have wrapped up one of its biggest needs during the summer transfer window with just signing a midfielder left.
