Inter Milan and Roma exchange in Twitter battle

Who said social media can’t be fun?

So, we all know how social media dominates our daily lives. It is all around us and, for some, has become the only form of communication with other humans.

Well, in the football world, social media platforms like Twitter have been utilized to make club announcements, lineups and the like. However, a short Twitter exchange between Bordeaux and Roma drew interest from Inter Milan and the rest is actually pretty glorious.

On Tuesday, Marceille announced that Kevin Strootman would be joining from AS Roma and the Ligue One side decided to be inspired by the popular Fortnite game to announce the signing.

Well, Roma’s social media account elected to go a step further and actually poke fun of Inter Milan’s player announcements in the follow-up.

Needless to say, that jab didn’t sit well with the marketing department in Milan, so Inter’s staff decided to go on the offensive and fire back against Roma and their failed attempt to sign Malcom over the summer.
