The latest transfer news in England suggest Inter Milan are preparing to bid on a pair of Manchester United players.
The Nerazzurri are eyeing both defender Ashley Young and full back Matteo Darmian to come to the Giuseppe Meazza in the summer.

It is possible Inter would get the 33-year-old Young on a free transfer during the summer as he will be out of contract with the Red Devils after the season. The belief is that as Inter sit third in Serie A, the lure of Champions League football next season is key.
While Manchester United is in the process of negotiating with Young on a contract extension, it is possible for Young to reach a deal with Inter during the winter transfer window, if he so chooses.
The report is that Inter have offered Young a two-year deal, but there has not been a price listed for the former England international.
Young started his career with Watford and was sold to Aston Villa in 2007. In 2011, he was sold to Manchester United for €18 million. So far this season, Young has played in 19 matches, scoring a goal and adding three assists.
As for Darmian, it would not be the first time Inter has been linked with the Italian (here and here) as there was discussion the club wanted Darmian during the last summer transfer window.
Now, however, Inter has apparently made a bid for Darmian and United has come back with a price of approximately €18 million, despite the fact that Darmian has played in just four matches this season for Manchester United, who sit sixth in the Premier League.
Darmian started with AC Milan and moved up through its academy before being loaned to Padova in 2010, sold to Palermo in 2011 and loaned to Torino in 2012. Palermo eventually sold Darmian to Torino for €2.3 million. Three seasons later, Torino cashed in on Darmian and sold him to Manchester United for €18 million.
His best season with Manchester United was his first when he featured in 28 Premier League matches, scoring a goal and adding an assist. However, since that first season, his playing time has diminished significantly.
