Latest News:
Dortmund will be without Marco Reus and Paco Alcacer for tonight’s game. Reus missed the team’s last game against Borussia Mönchengladbach with the flu and did not travel to Italy.
Dortmund’s shape is expected to look more like a 4-2-3-1 in possession, rather than Lucian Favre’s preferred 4-4-2. Out of possession, however, the press will still trigger with two narrow forwards up front. Mario Gotze will then drop in behind Julian Brandt in the number 10 role, with Brandt, Jadon Sancho and Thorgan Hazard providing speed and width. Defending the half-spaces either side of Skriniar and Godin will be a tough ask.
Antonio Candreva will start ahead of the hobbled Danilo D’Ambrosio.
