Amidst transfer rumors Eriksen’s focus is on the pitch

Christian Eriksen’s time at Inter Milan hasn’t gone as planned. I think its safe to say that the thought process behind his transfer and what has actually happened haven’t lined up.

That’s led to a lackluster amount of playing time and transfer rumors. Eriksen chatted about the rumors and also the playing time.

“For now, I focus on football, then we’ll see when the window opens what will happen and what won’t. It’s not what I had in mind.”

“I think all the players want to play as much as possible, but it’s the coach who decides. It’s a particular situation, people would like to see me play and I would like to do it too, but the coach has different ideas and I as a player have to respect them.”

I still think there’s a chance Eriksen and Inter could work out well for both parties. However, it seems like Inter may be interested in selling high at this point. We’ll just have to see.
