Inter Milan are reportedly preparing to make a decision on free agent goalkeeper Emiliano Viviano. The potential pursuit comes on the back of lackluster feelings from Antonio Conte and Inter brass about the performances of Daniele Padelli.
Padelli has been filling in for the injured Samir Handanovic. The captain is likely out for the next 3-5 weeks and Inter need stability in the net for the stretch Serie A run.
Viviano’s contract with Sporting Lisbon expired in September 2019 and has been sitting out since. He played his most recent football on loan at SPAL last season. According to the report, Viviano carried out medicals with Inter yesterday and the club’s final decision would likely take place today.
