Philippe Coutinho could reportedly be apart of a Lautaro Martinez deal. The report from Tuttosport makes it apparent once again that Barcelona aren’t interested in doing a cash only deal, and are trying different players in combination to appeal to Inter Milan.
The Coutinho situation has continued to be a difficult one for Barcelona to properly deal with. It doesn’t seem like they’re all that interested in bringing him back to Barcelona full time. It also doesn’t seem like they’re interested in selling him because their investment is so large, and Coutinho’s current reputation doesn’t hold up to the high price Barca paid.
A two-year loan deal to Inter is what Tuttosport are reporting for Coutinho to Inter Milan. The deal would presumably have some sort of favorable permanent purchase option for Inter. Frankly, this doesn’t seem all that favorable for Inter. However, I’m open to hearing options.
