Barcelona reach agreement with Lautaro’s agent

According to a report from Tuttosport, Barcelona have reached an agreement with Lautaro Martinez’s agent. The report comes on the back of all the recent reporting of Barcelona’s pursuit of Martinez.

More recent reporting makes it clear Barcelona are in a position this summer to choose between Neymar and Lautaro. The easy part is convincing the player and his agent that Barcelona will take care of him.

The difficult part comes now convincing Inter Milan of a package that’s worth their time. The move hinges on the €111m release clause and how the two clubs work around that number. It’s unlikely Barcelona will get close to that number alone. A player returning in the deal to Inter is the most likely scenario.
