A report from CalcioMercato says that Antonio Conte isn’t all that interested in Philippe Coutinho. The Inter Milan boss is certainly already in discussions with the boss people about what a Lautaro Martinez package would look like from Barcelona.
It would be really nice in all likelihood from the Barcelona side of things to be able to sell Coutinho in a Lautaro Martinez deal. However, given all of difficulties that Coutinho went through at Barcelona, its doubtful Inter would be all that interested in him being the centerpiece of a Lautaro deal.
In his time at Bayern Munich this season, Coutinho has been serviceable. Scoring nine goals and assisting on eight others in his 32 appearances for the club. From the recent reports out of Germany, it doesn’t appear all that likely that Bayern will be picking up his option. That leaves Barcelona in a precarious situation trying to deal him this summer. It would be nice if Inter were obsessed with obtaining Coutinho’s services, it just doesn’t look like they are.
