Serie A have opened an inquiry into Inter Milan president Steven Zhang. The Inter president made comments in regards to Serie A president Paolo Dal Pino on his Instagram this week. The Inter boss called him the ”the biggest and darkest clown I have ever seen”.
You can read the full quotes here. The quotes were in regards to the handling of Inter’s match postponement against Juventus. The match was postponed due to the Coronavirus outbreak in Italy. The country has seen over 1800 cases and 50 plus deaths due to the virus.
It’s unclear at this point what the potential consequences of the inquiry are. However, when they figure out that it was in fact Zhang’s Instagram, it’ll be interesting to see what punishment they hand down.
