Inter Milan striker Alessandro Altobelli commented on the Lautaro Martinez transfer saga this week. The legendary striker played for the club for 11 years, scoring 128 goals. Altobelli discussed Lautaro’s rumored transfer to Barcelona. He said there was only one player he would accept in exchange for Lautaro.
“I would say that it mostly depends on the player himself. I have always read that he feels good in Milan and that Inter is a great team who have made him grow and become a world class striker. I hope he does not change his mind and he will stay at Inter because he still has time to go to another club later on.”
“It seems logical to me that Inter will not accept any players from Barcelona. If they really want Lautaro they should pay his release clause. If I were to swap Lautaro for a Barcelona player though, I would only do so if it were for Lionel Messi.”
