Former Inter Milan man Darko Pancev discussed a few aspects of his career this week. The attacker won the golden boot in 1991 leading to his move to Inter Milan the next year.
“My biggest mistake was joining Inter,” Pancev told Goal. “Because I went to a team that had a bad atmosphere, a team that played defensively and as a stranger – they looked at me differently, and I think that they weren’t supportive enough for me to adapt easily.”

His career took a turn downwards after the move. Only scoring a handful of a goals the rest of his career and retiring in 1997.
