Racing Club president Blanco says Lautaro is worth more than his release clause

Racing Club president Victor Blanco spoke about Lautaro Martinez this week. Blanco specifically discussed the viability of Lautaro actually going to Barcelona. He also gave his opinion on how Lautaro’s value stacks up against his release clause.

“I am kept informed by those who are at his side but it is up to him to make a decision, we want the best for him. If Messi wants him it is very difficult to say no because Lautaro has great admiration for him,” he began the interview.

“There are great players in the Inter squad but he has become an indisputable starter. He is a world class player and among the top 10 in world for his quality and age. I believe he is worth more than his €111 million release clause.”
