Lautaro reportedly tells Inter its Barcelona or nothing

Lautaro Martinez reportedly told Inter Milan the only place he was willing to leave for was Barcelona. The report comes from Mundo Deportivo. The headline was “Barcelona or nothing”, and lays out the reality we expected to be in at some point.

It remains to be seen if this is even within Lautaro’s personality to do something like this. Frankly, seems a bit far fetched. However, it was reported that Premier League clubs were making more appealing offers to Inter Milan. Perhaps there was a hint from Lautaro’s representatives to Inter that a Premier League move wouldn’t be welcomed.

A subtle pressure from Lautaro towards Inter Milan seems likely as the summer develops. A “Barcelona or nothing” position seems like one that would have come eventually regardless.
